Fly Fishing Workshops:
Wow, we just finished up our very first fly fishing workshop and what a success it was. The neatest part of
all was that it started out as a Children’s Fly Fishing Workshop and right from the beginning the parents too, got involved.
Topics
covered were: Fly tying, water-side etiquette, casting, knots, food sources, streamer fishing, Bass characteristics, panfish fishing,
tackle and materials.
A big thank you to the Federation of Flyfisher’s for having helped out with their loaner program and curriculum.
Without you guys this would have been impossible to pull off.
About the program:
It is an 8 week course.
Held at TENOROC FISH MANAGEMENT
AREA ‘s beautiful Picnic Lake.
Saturday mornings from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 or 1:00 p.m..

Bamboo Rodmaking Classes
Monllor Rods is now offering Rodmaking classes where you’ll have:
Six days of instruction.
You customize the
rod to suit your tastes.
All tools and components are provided.
Rod bag and tube are included.
